What you get when the answer is honest, not optimistic

We are not trying to sell you software. We are trying to give you a clear picture of your business and a straight answer about whether any tool would improve it.

Overview

Six things that set us apart

We tell you when to wait

Around one in four assessments ends with us recommending the business hold off. We would rather say that than set something up that adds maintenance without reducing workload.

You leave with a document

Not a summary slide or a bullet list in a chat thread. A written two-page note explaining the findings and the reasoning, whether the answer is yes or not yet.

Kelantan context, not generic advice

We work in Kota Bharu. We know seasonal trade patterns, family-run operations, mixed-language customer bases. Our assessments reflect what is actually common in this market.

Fixed ringgit pricing

Three services, three prices, all stated in ringgit before any work starts. No subscription layer hidden inside the setup fee, no mandatory renewal at the end.

Same people, every session

We are a small team. You speak to the same person across visits, not a different staff member who reads from notes. Context carries across sessions without you restating it.

Limits named, not hidden

The Order Status Assistant tells customers when it cannot see their order. Coaching hours carry over once. These are not fine print — they are part of how we describe the service upfront.

Expertise

Experience with how small businesses actually work

One of our co-founders ran a wholesale distribution business in Kelantan for twelve years before moving into consultancy. The other has spent her career doing technical setup inside small businesses rather than designing software for them. The third team member has a background in SME staff training.

Between us, we know what the day looks like from inside a business with two to fifteen staff, what questions come up when a new tool is introduced, and which objections from staff are worth taking seriously versus which ones resolve themselves in the first week.

What this means for you

  • Assessment questions are based on how small businesses actually organise their time, not how large companies do
  • We know which tools have poor track records for small business adoption and say so
  • We anticipate staff adoption questions rather than treating them as an obstacle
  • We can run sessions in English or Bahasa Malaysia, or move between them in a single session

Our technical approach

  • We assess against your current systems — your order sheet, your messaging channel, your customer records — not an ideal setup
  • The Order Status Assistant is configured to say when it cannot find an answer, rather than guess
  • We supervise replies for two weeks before anything goes live unsupervised
  • We flag if a technical connection is not feasible before charging for setup
Technology

Tools evaluated against your actual infrastructure

Most AI tools are designed for businesses that already have organised data, consistent processes, and staff with capacity to learn new systems. Many small businesses have none of those things — and the tool still gets sold.

We start by looking at what you actually have: a spreadsheet that gets updated inconsistently, an order system that does not export cleanly, a WhatsApp thread that serves as your customer database. That is the real environment any tool has to work in, and that is what we assess against.

Service

The same person, from first visit to final note

We are small by design. You speak to the same person in the first session and the last. There is no handover to an implementation team after the assessment, no account manager who reads from notes while you fill them in on what you already discussed.

Coaching sessions can cover whatever is in front of you that week, including things that came up after the previous session. We do not require a structured agenda and we do not charge extra for questions that take the session in a different direction.

What clients say they notice

The most common thing clients mention after the first visit is that they expected more enthusiasm for the tools than we showed. That is intentional. We are there to look at the situation, not to build a case for a particular outcome.

Several clients have also mentioned that their staff were less resistant to the assessment than they expected — because we treat staff concerns as information about the business, not as pushback to manage.

What you pay for

Starter Assessment (two visits + written note) RM 120
Order Status Assistant (setup + two-week supervision) RM 405
Coaching Hours (8 hours across 6 months) RM 645

No subscriptions built in. No mandatory follow-ons. Payment details confirmed with booking.

Value

Clear prices before any work begins

All three service prices are listed on this website in ringgit. We do not quote in other currencies, apply exchange-rate adjustments, or structure payment to obscure what you are spending. The price for the Starter Assessment includes both visits and the written note — there is no separate charge for the document.

For the Order Status Assistant, payment is split: half at setup, half at the end of the supervised period. That structure means you have seen the output before you pay the second half.

Outcomes

Results that are measurable, not assumed

For the Order Status Assistant, the measure is straightforward: how many times per week were staff typing the same reply, and does that number drop. We check this during the supervised period and include the figure in our post-setup note.

For assessments and coaching, the output is a clearer picture and a documented decision — either to proceed with something, to hold off, or to investigate a specific tool further before committing. That clarity is the result, even when the result is "not now."

Typical results from the Order Status Assistant

  • Staff time spent on order status queries drops significantly in the first two weeks after go-live
  • Customer wait time for status replies decreases, particularly outside business hours
  • The assistant declines to answer roughly 15–30% of queries, directing them to staff — this is expected and logged
  • Post-setup note documents actual query volume and resolution rate for your records
Comparison

How we differ from typical providers

This is not a criticism of other consultancies. It is a description of what we do differently and why.

Pricing structure Often includes retainer or follow-on package Fixed price per service, no retainer

Tool supervision Handed over after setup Two-week checked period before live
Local context Generic SME framework Kelantan and Malaysia-specific experience
What makes us different

Things we do that others generally do not

We actively recommend against our own services when they do not fit

If the Starter Assessment shows that AI tools are not right for a business at this point, we say so. We do not restructure the recommendation to reach a different conclusion. Roughly one in four assessments ends this way.

Payment for setup is split across the supervised period

For the Order Status Assistant, you pay half at setup and half after the two-week supervised period. You have seen how the tool performs before you pay the second half.

We tell you when a question is outside our knowledge

In coaching sessions, if a question would be better answered by a lawyer, an accountant, or a specialist in a particular platform, we say so and tell you where to look, rather than filling the time with an answer that is not suited to the question.

Written notes available in English or Bahasa Malaysia

Our two-page assessment note and coaching summaries can be produced in the language that suits you and your staff. Mention your preference when you get in touch — it costs nothing extra.

The Starter Assessment tells you exactly where you stand

Two visits, a plain two-page note, and a clear answer — whether that answer is yes, no, or not yet. RM 120, in ringgit, paid before the first visit.
